Dojo Philosophy

The word ‘dojo’ evokes images of a space, stripped of everything but the bare essentials where there is patient focus on the basics and disciplined commitment to process skills mastery. The primary school English syllabus aims among other things, to equip students with a strong foundation in the English language. Basics are the building blocks of a foundation. There will be heavy emphasis on training in basics and disciplined thinking at The Brain Dojo. Sun Tzu, the Chinese general said,
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.”
The Brain Dojo has been founded on the belief that if you identify the learning gaps and misconceptions in your basics and work to rectify these and otherwise become adept in basics, you would look forward to the results of a hundred English tests.
